Hostelworld says

Stayokay Amsterdam Vondelpark is near the Van Gogh Museum, the Rijksmuseum and the nightlife of Leidseplein, with a view overlooking Vondelpark. There are several buses and trams nearby which go across the city. Hostelworld guests tell us this hostel offers great value for money, ‘a nice mix for international visitors’ and that they’d recommend it ‘if you want a quiet night in Amsterdam’. We particularly like their highly-praised, typically Dutch breakfast of cheese, meats, eggs and more.

Good hostel it's very clean and in a great location. It has a more professional atmosphere than other hostels I've been to. Don't come expecting a party hostel but it is very nice.

Pros Amazing location right next to the park and within walking distance to attractions and tram lines and a great cheap breakfast for 9 euros. You can also rent a bike for around 10 euros but they aren’t well maintained so people can hear you coming from a mile away. Two showers in a shared dorm. Clean and comfortable community areas Negatives I have doubts about how often the hostel rooms are cleaned as I stayed for 5 nights and the soap was constantly empty and the shower and toilets were not the cle

Great hostel with all the amenities & features you could want, but it was a little quieter than expected. To be fair I went during the off season in Autumn & in the middle of the week for a couple of days, but I was still looking forward to making friends at the bar/cafe which turned out to be pretty empty. The few people I met were very lovely though. Park right outside the hostel was also very pretty and convenient! Would visit again :)

Stayokay Amsterdam Vondelpark says

I think our most unique feature is that we're partly located in a monumental chalet building from which you have a stunning view over the Vondelpark. We're in the middle of things but still very quiet. Our location means we're right in the city centre of Amsterdam and very close the Leidseplein (the entertainment area), Museumplein (Van Gogh Museum, the Rijksmuseum, Stedelijk Museum) and a lot of shopping streets. So if you want to go out and shop, eat, drink, visit museums or cruise through the canals, everything is just around the corner. During the day I recommend that our visitors either rent a bike to discover the city like a local or take a boat trip through the canals. At night I like the famous Melkweg or Paradiso music venues. I'd say we're ideally suited for backpackers and groups aged 18 to 30, and we cater for people with special needs or disabilities.
