The personal of this hostel was very nice. They helped us with the mysteries of an Auschwitz-visit as much as they could and the hostel itself was good situated to the station and the city center. However common room would have lifted the standard even more, or a bit larger kitchen with i.e. more chairs. But thanks for a wonderful stay in Katowice!

Feels like somebody just converted some apartments into a hostel. No curtain for the window. The door to my room had weird opaque windows that let in the hallway light.
