Punta Huanchaco Hostel

Located on a quiet street just one block from the best surfing spot, Punta Huanchaco is a friendly, well-established hostel with over 8 years of hosting experience. Peaceful and homely, we focus on creating a relaxed, community and family-like atmosphere where guests easily connect and feel at home.

We are located close to great restaurants and cafes, local stores, and surf shops where you can rent all the equipment you need. Wake up, grab your board, and you can be in the water within minutes.

We offer a mix of private rooms and dorms, including one 6-bed dorm and one 4-bed dorm, as well as private rooms with shared or private bathrooms. Amenities and facilities include a terrace for relaxing, an exercise room, and a large shared living space with board games. The hostel also offers strong WiFi throughout and a clean, well-equipped kitchen. We provide alkaline drinking water, complimentary tea all day, surfboard racks, and wetsuit hangers. Secure parking is available for traveling bikers, with space for up to 6 motorbikes.

The hostel is ideal for digital nomads, traveling surfers, and short-term guests looking for a relaxed and social hostel atmosphere. Longer-term stays are welcome, and rates can be discussed directly with the hostel. We can arrange yoga sessions, Spanish lessons, and surf trips to Chicama to ride the world’s longest left-hand wave.

Free cancellation up to 24 hours before arrival.

Payment
Payment is due upon arrival by cash only.
We accept USD and Peruvian Soles.

Reception is open 24 hours a day.
There is no curfew.
Guests must be 18 years of age or older to stay at the hostel. Any exception must be agreed prior to booking.
