Perfect in every way. Especially the host, Ajith goes above and beyond to help you. He does an amazing tour taking you off the beaten path. He even offered to pick us up some nights to save us taking a bus or tuktuk. This hostel isn’t in the main town of Ella and because of this you get increíble views which is far more important when stopping in a place as beautiful and scenic as Ella. It’s easy enough to jump on the bus directly outside of the hostel to get to the town to if needed.

OMG there are no words! The best place we stayed at while in Sri Lanka! We stayed in the private house in the middle of the jungle and it was beyond wonderful! Words can’t describe it, you have to go! The owner Ajith and his family are so welcoming and beautiful people! They made us local food for breakfast, lunch and dinner and we couldn’t ask for a better experience! Ajith is such a caring, thoughtful and friendly person, he told us beautiful stories and he was available for all our needs❤️❤️

This hostel has the absolute best views!! From every room, it's beautiful. Ajith had great communication through whatsapp and helped arrange drop off/pick up to the center since we are a bit far out. The real star was Shan who was always there when Ajith was not. He helped us with everything! We had the private room and mostly everything was great except the shower/ shower pressure for hot water was non existent. Also missing some organized way to put our stuff, hang things, etc.
