The value for the price was really good, I also liked the female and male dorm split. The glass yoga area is very beautiful and the location is good, close to everything. What bothered me was that there is a cat and you can really smell it. I saw it marking the territory and I also could smell it in the room. Also there are people on a long stay and there was not a good social vibe. However the kitchen is alright and they offer hot water :)

Welcome was treated like business transaction: name ? 2days ? 40 soles now ! Kitchen there, bathroom there, bed here. Bad hosting. - no functional common room. - bad cold shower. - grubby basic kitchen - dirty dishes everywhere. - host mostly unavailable. - too many longterm guests: antisocial. - rubbish piling out of bins, all-over floor. - cold place, bad insulation against outside temp. - bad, dangerous electrical witing, connections. + clean, well-functioning toilet. + good wi-fi.

Such a good hostel in my opinion. I think the rating is not justifying the value. It’s clean, it’s facing the river, hot water shower, so quiet. The staffs are super nice and kind and 10 mins away from the centre. So it’s so easy to just walk to the town. They also have hot water provided to make tea. In such a cold winter in Peru this is a super warmth act. I would love to stay here again!
