Welcome to Omnia – your home in Ahangama 🌴

Omnia is a social hostel, perfect for solo travellers, backpackers and digital nomads who want to meet people 🤝. With daily activities like free yoga classes 🧘‍♀️, shared family-style dinners, sunset hangouts 🌅, spontaneous surf trips or safaris, it is easy to connect and feel part of the Omnia family. To keep the atmosphere personal and relaxed, we do not allow large groups, making Omnia ideal for solo travellers and small groups. We also have an in-house restaurant serving local Sri Lankan dishes and Western favourites 🍽️.

We are just 600 metres from Ahangama Beach and 1.5 km from Kabalana Beach, close to beginner and intermediate surf spots and cafés 🌊.

Relax in our common areas with table tennis, comfy bean bags and free WiFi 💻, or chat with our friendly team for local tips and activities around Ahangama. Many guests arrive for a few nights and end up staying longer.

Jag stannade tre nätter här i ett privat rum. Rekommenderar verkligen detta boende! Det är alldeles nytt och väldigt rent. Men framförallt är ägarna och alla som jobbar där mycket trevliga och snälla. De fick mig att känna mig som hemma direkt och hjälpte till med allt som behövdes!! Tack Omnia! Hit kommer jag tillbaka nästa gång 🌞

Had a fab stay here, it was really social and there was a lovely vibe. The family dinners make it really easy to meet others, especially great if you’re travelling alone. Love the free yoga and activities organised by the hostel. I loved the silver jewellery workshop (made my own ring). Staff were great! It’s even better if you hire a scooter (you can easily rent them from the hostel) as Ahangama is best enjoyed with a scooter. Small downside - the beds are a bit wobbly. Overall a great place!

So lucky to have stayed here, we arrived so late at night due to a flight delay and lost baggage and the hostel staff were just amazing welcomed us in at 3am and let us sort out all the admin bits in the morning. We only got to stay for one night but kept coming back to enjoy the social bits :) really loved the vibe. Thank you !
