Colombo Beach Hostel ligger ca 10 km från stadens centrum, och ligger inom en 5 minuters promenad från stora vägen. Garderoben tågstation (Mount Lavinia) är ca 500mtrs från vår plats. CBH är på De Saram Road, som ger dig lugn och ro, och är idealisk plats att koppla av efter en hektisk dag.

Vi har 2 rum med bifogade toaletter, vardera bestående av 2 sängar, dessutom har vi 2 rum med tillhörande toaletter med dubbelsängar. Vår anläggning har ett gemensamt rum, för beredning av livsmedel etc. Även vi har en stor takterrass med trädgård för dig att slappna av. Alla rum har en seprate entré till de viktigaste trädgården, så du behöver inte gå igenom en mottagning när du kommer. Vår vänliga personal kommer alltid att finnas där för att hjälpa dig och råd du på någon av dina frågor.

This is sooo nice! Just by the beach and with so cosy environment. Every night they prepare a vegetarian meal and you al get together and meet by the table. The common space is lovely and the staff are helpful. The rooms are clean and nice

The dorm is not kept very clean, and the bathrooms ans toilets are even worse. There is no lock on the door, but during the night the gate to the hostel is kept locked at least. Although, the worst part is how insanely hot it was during the night. There was just one fan in the dorm and it did not reach all of the beds, so to me it felt like I was in a sauna. It was impossible to sleep.

Great place to meet people who are travelling around. Can get tips where to go and also meet someone you can travel with. I don't know about the dorms, but the private rooms were great and good value for money. The beach is so so but well worth a dip or two. Go upstairs to the roof-top chill-out area, you'll find relaxed (hippie-type backpackers) which you can observe and if you'd like, engage in conversations. But it'll mostly be about where you've been and where you're going next.
