I made a booking months prior the festival of essaouira, all is good. Only when I called them 2 days prior the booking date for confirmation, that they have told me that my booking was allegedly canceled, and that it was my fault for not reading emails (they haven't sent any emails nor took 5 minutes to call me and inform that they canceled the booking). Also this isn't the case, the booking was still valid and active on the app and that's why I can still write this review. Unprofessional.

It could have been cleaner. There was a lot of noise in the dorm with people speaking loudly in the dorm and in the corridors after 10pm. There was A LOT of condensation on the walls. There was no security at the top of the stairs and I felt that anyone could walk in through the front door and steal from the rooms. The terrace kitchette was dingy and the top terrace could have been really lovely but there was no effort put into it. However, the Wifi was excellent.

I had a lovely, relaxing time at this place. It was everything I needed and wanted from a hostel and very new, clean and homely. The staff member treated me very well and was very pleasant. I would highly recommend staying here and will definitely return.
