At our place, you will be able to chill out at sunny terraces, or rest in the shade in hammoks under exuberant trees ,or hang out in the cosy common areas, drinking a tasty local beer or a glass of delicious chilean wine , and meeting other travellers from all around the world ..
Here you can rent bikes, get tourist information and book a variety of tours to the incredible attractions of this region...

We are located very close to the bus terminal and to the colonial city center, and at a 10 min. walk to the beautiful beach of la Serena ( but we are not directly in front of the beach, so there is no risk of Tsunami at our hostel..!) .
Because of our great location, you can go walking to visit all the main attractions of La Serena, such as the historic city center , the Archaeological Museum, the handicraft Market La Recova, restaurants, pubs,etc
Our brand new rooms, with cosy and modern decoration, have extremely comfortable beds , fully equipped with bed linen.

There is a big supermarket very close to the hostel ( aprox. 200mts), where you can find everything you need.., specially all kinds of good food to cook in our well equipped common kitchen. Laundry service is also at walking distance.

La Serena'daki Eco lodge El Arbol, yemyeşil doğası ve rahat yataklarıyla sakin bir vahadır. Konuklar, güler yüzlü personeli ve mükemmel kahvaltıyı övüyor. Plaja ve olanaklara yakın elverişli bir konumdadır, ancak bazı glamping çadırlarında mahremiyet eksikliği olabilir ve mutfaklar daha iyi donatılmış olabilir.

Bit of a strange experience to be honest. Stayed in the glamping area, and was told by the staff to only use the outside provided kitchen. Upon arrival it was filthy and with no tools to clean it. Also lacking a lot of equipment so we resorted to use the inside kitchen. When notified the staff did clean the area though. Also there where drag racing in nearby in the night only substituted by an outside nightclub with fireworks until 7am. I didn't mind too much (earplugs) but others might.

Pros: Large, pretty grounds. Close to beach and supermarket. Cons: What was advertised as a "4 bed female dorm" was a two bed female tent, which I personally would not have booked had this been clearer to me from the ad! Some staff were more helpful/polite than others in clarifying my confusion about this (all shared accom are tents). WiFi not available in the tents, only outside the reception area Also three very boisterous dogs in the property, so best for people that like dogs!

The room was very clean and the kitchen was big and clean. Unfortunately, there were only families with children and older couples staying there and it was hard to socialize.
