At our place, you will be able to chill out at sunny terraces, or rest in the shade in hammoks under exuberant trees ,or hang out in the cosy common areas, drinking a tasty local beer or a glass of delicious chilean wine , and meeting other travellers from all around the world ..
Here you can rent bikes, get tourist information and book a variety of tours to the incredible attractions of this region...

We are located very close to the bus terminal and to the colonial city center, and at a 10 min. walk to the beautiful beach of la Serena ( but we are not directly in front of the beach, so there is no risk of Tsunami at our hostel..!) .
Because of our great location, you can go walking to visit all the main attractions of La Serena, such as the historic city center , the Archaeological Museum, the handicraft Market La Recova, restaurants, pubs,etc
Our brand new rooms, with cosy and modern decoration, have extremely comfortable beds , fully equipped with bed linen.

There is a big supermarket very close to the hostel ( aprox. 200mts), where you can find everything you need.., specially all kinds of good food to cook in our well equipped common kitchen. Laundry service is also at walking distance.

Eco lodge El Arbol i La Serena tilbyder en rolig oase med frodig natur og komfortable senge. Gæster roser det venlige personale og den fremragende morgenmad. Det er bekvemt placeret tæt på stranden og faciliteter, selvom nogle glampingtelte måske mangler privatliv, og køkkener kunne være bedre udstyret.

Do NOT choose glamping! There isn't much glam about it (maybe depending on where you're from). They put beds in a tent and call it a day. The "walls" of the tents need to be cleaned. The kitchen, toilet and shower are outside, and on my first day they didn’t have hot water even though it was 12°. The water actually stopped working at one point.. The light at the camp site is based on solar power, so if there isn't sun, there is no light. The trash bins were full but nobody came to colect it.

It was a bit difficult to find, but it is very close to the beach, shopping and the bus station.the hostel is a perfect place, to relax because of the lovely garden, good beds and a great atmosphere . We could easily have spent a few days more. Also the breakfast was good.

Bit of a strange experience to be honest. Stayed in the glamping area, and was told by the staff to only use the outside provided kitchen. Upon arrival it was filthy and with no tools to clean it. Also lacking a lot of equipment so we resorted to use the inside kitchen. When notified the staff did clean the area though. Also there where drag racing in nearby in the night only substituted by an outside nightclub with fireworks until 7am. I didn't mind too much (earplugs) but others might.
