Gîte la Montagne is located in the heart of the woods, 5 minutes from the centre of Chamonix-Mont-Blanc.

The hostel offers shared accommodation with free parking and a large green area. There is also a kitchen with all utensils.

Gîte la Montagne - Terms & Conditions:

Cancellation policy: 5 days before arrival. In case of a late cancellation or No Show, you will be charged the first night of your stay.

Check in from 17:00 to 22:00 .
Check out before 11:00 .

Payment upon arrival by cash only.

BED BUGS. Left covered in bites. Nothing is washed between guests, bedding isnt even folded. This place is much filthier than any refuge i stayed at on the TMB. Do not risk staying at this place it is not worth the slight savings

It's cute, it's rustic and a little rough around the edges but it's charming at the same time. As always don't expect a great nights sleep in any shared dorm anywhere in the world. Outside bar area is lovely. Overall a decent enough stay at a great price. You'll need some basic french language when you check in btw

Bed bugs galore!!!! Pillows & unwashed bedding which gave us bed bug bites - otherwise would be a really good hostel
