Hotel Backpackers Rio Dulce

We are a non profit organization and social enterprise that funds Casa Guatemala; an impoverished region of Rio Dulce supporting over 30 indigenous villages with education, medical and nutritional services.

Backpackers Hotel and Restaurant/Bar is located in the heart of Rio Dulce under the famous bridge, and we are only 5 min ride from the bus station.

Our hostel has basic eco-style accommodations which offer affordable rates, and friendly staff. We also have a beautiful dock for swimming on the river, and also where we book tours/shuttles for our guests to explore the area. We have basic rooms in a beautiful location. We have a book swap area, foyer area with wifi, and free drinking water. We do NOT have a kitchen for our hostel guests at this time. We do have a fridge for our guests to store their food in during their stay. We also make the best Michelada in town, and we have a wall size map of the area so you can plan your next adventure!

Hotel Backpackers Rio Dulce - Terms & Conditions:

Cancellation policy: 1 day before arrival. In case of a late cancellation or No Show, you will be charged the first night of your stay.

Check in from 15:00 to 20:00 .
Check out before 11:00 .

Payment upon arrival by cash.

Taxes included.

Important:

Reception hours: MON-WED 7am-8pm / THURS-SUN 7am-Midnight.
Please note check in must be within those time frames. We only make exceptions for group bookings.
