Split Backpackers is a class hostel in a beautiful and vibrant city. After stumbling my way through the door after a long day of trying not to bump into everyone with my stuffed to the brim backpack, Marija was a friendly face who checked me in and made me feel at home immediatly (thank you for returning my misplaced passport, I needed that nap). I was only here for 1 night but it was a nice stay! Friendly people and social enough without feeling too much of a party hostel. Very clean facilities (though the showers and kitchen were a bit small) and one of the comfiest beds I've slept in in a hostel!

First hostel i ever stayed in and it was amazing for meeting new people as it had a social vibe with hostel events everyday, it was super clean and in a great location being close to everything! i felt super safe here as a solo female traveler and would definitely recommend.
