Solo traveler? No problem. Our cozy, social vibe makes it easy to meet people from day one — whether you’re hanging out on the balcony, joining dinner plans or just chatting in the common room.
We’re only 5 minutes from Bačvice beach, the Old Town, ferry port and main bus/train station, so everything important is within walking distance — from morning swims to late night bars and parties. The hostel is located on the second floor (no elevator).
We run regular activities like free/tip-based walking tours, workshops, group dinners, pub crawls and spontaneous hangouts — and if you feel like exploring further, you can book trips with us to Krka waterfalls, the Blue Lagoon, island hopping and more.

Payment is in cash upon arrival.
City tax is 2.65 EUR per person per day and is not included in the price (paid at check-in).
Please include your approximate arrival time when making the reservation.

Late check-in is possible only if arranged in advance — please contact us via email at splitbackpackers@gmail.com so we can send you self check-in instructions. The same applies if you arrive before reception hours.
After check-out, luggage storage is also available free of charge. Long-term storage is available as well.
Cancellation policy: Free cancellation up to 72 hours before arrival. In case of late cancellation or no-show, the first night of the stay will be charged.
Age restriction: The hostel vibe might not be the best for children under 18 or elderly people.
