Galway City Hostel

Had the best time in Galway City Hostel! All the facilities were perfect and clean, but what really made it was the people! The volunteers are so kind and keen for a chat or a boogie out in the city. The family dinners each night were great value and an easy way to meet people. And a big special mention to Tom, who makes everyone feel so cared for and welcome, the most generous and kind man ever, and such a good cook! Thank you Tom and the team!

Clean, mostly comfortable - if not a bit warm at night (my stay was during an unusually hot & sunny week), this hostel and its staff was a great value in a perfect location. The dinners and pub crawl were laid back occasions with a great social atmosphere. In my room there was a lot of street noise, and the gulls cried all night, but all-in-all not unbearably loud. I would stay here again.

I've traveled a lot, always staying in hostels, and by far, this is one of the best hostels. Truly. Tom and Maura, super staff people; Tom is a great cook for the 5 eu meals. Breakfast spread is incredible. Clean, well run. Downright awesome. Highly high recommend.
