Blue Mountain Hotel is a charming family hotel run by enthusiastic Dutch owners, Paul and Alisha Timmermans Boonstra. Situated on a mountain in the Austrian Alps close to Italy and Slovenia, the hotel offers stunning views, many lakes and other places of interest close by, ideal for an unforgettable holiday.
Hiking, biking and of course motorcycling, Blue Mountain Hotel is a perfect departure point for these and many other activities. Austria and Carinthia in particular is loved by motorcyclists. From Blue Mountain Hotel there are endless motorcycle trips in Austria itself, but making a tour through 3 countries (Italy, Slovenia and Austria) is a unique experience. The hotel has a playroom with table tennis, table football, air hockey and many more, a ski boot room, a ski stall, private road, motorgarage, a restaurant with fine food and of course our cosy lounge with fireplace.

The well-known Carinthian ski resorts of Bad Kleinkirchheim and Gerlitzen are only 20 minutes away. The famous ski areas of Tarvisio in Italy and Kranjska Gora in Slovenia can be reached in 45 minutes.

All rooms at Blue Mountain Hotel are traditionally furnished with a modern touch. Most rooms have a balcony. Facilities at the hotel also include a terrace with outdoor seating, a hot tub, a pool billiard, a ski room, an indoor motor parking with workshop and a playroom with tablefootbal, airhockey, tabletennis, tv and toys, lounge/bar and restaurant.
