This place has bed bugs. I stayed one night, and I woke up the next day with my entire body covered w/ a red itching rash. When confronting the owner, he first tried to make me believe me that I caught the disease while I was out, and, after I made clear to only having been at the great mosque, dug in my dustbin to fish out the paper wraps of a sandwich I ate and insisted that it was a food allergy instead. A private clinic in Rabat confirmed on the same day that the rash was of animal origin.

the central location is probably the best thing about this place. my bathroom was quite dirty and on several occasions the cleaning lady walked into my room without knocking which made me somewhat uncomfortable. i might’ve been one of the only people there at the time and the atmosphere was quite dead. be sure to check out right on the dot (11:30), because i came back at 11:42 and they had packed up all of my things and left them in the lobby for anyone to take. would not stay again
