Located directly on a concrete park, who's claim is a large flock of pigeons. They poop all over the place. It's not an uplifting environment at all. The Hotel, room, and staff were good enough for a budget stay.

Good place to stay on a budget. Not a backpacker hostel, mostly just a hotel for Ecuadorians. The location is great and busy during the day but becomes a bit dangerous and empty at night according to locals. Easy walk from the main city attractions. Good security.

Excellent hostal and very reasonable price, security was good and the staff were extremely helpful, after we checked out they let us store our bags and stay in the communal areas until late evening.
