Really poor place. Seen better days and seems forlorn and unkempt. The room was ok, clean, and wifi worked well. But no pressure in the shower, just a dribble. No hot water at all. The town itself is a poor mudhole. There is no point staying there overnight anyway. Still, if you are there and run into trouble, the staff is very helpful and kind.

The hosts were exceptionally nice and our room was lovely. We experienced typical Mexican plumbing with some hot water issues. The location was off the beaten path and there isn’t much in this town other than getting tourists to the ferry for Holbox Island. There is a great panaderia down the street and a nice breakfast was included.

A decent place to stay. Staff is very nice, the rooms are decent and overall we had a good time. The only thing to improve on are the directions to get there, since the hotel is a bit off the main road into the rural area and we had a difficult time finding the place. Not even the locals who lived 1-2 blocks away knew where this place was. Other than that, yes, this is a good place to stay. And the FREE breakfast is very good. :)
