Donde Ivan is a great place to stay. We were just 5 min away from the city center and we were surrounded by lively shops and bars. Our room was cozy and the hotel breakfast was delicious. While our stay was short, my girlfriend and I really enjoyed our time there in Banos.

We loved this hotel, but DO NOT BOOK IT THROUGH HOSTEL WORLD!!! We showed up with our booking confirmation from Hostel World only to be told by staff that they don’t book through any external organizations. Luckily they had a room available, but we ended up paying the property’s booking price in addition to the deposit we’d already paid through Hostel World. I’m not sure whose bad it is, but Hostel World should not be advertising a hotel they don’t work with.
