UP2U Guesthouse

My stay at UP2Guesthouse was extremely pleasant. As there was a mistake with the booking system, they created a special private room just for me, with a massive bed, fan and mosquito net. The staff really went above and beyond to make me feel at home, and the vibe amongst the other travellers was also super chill and friendly. The facilities for the most part were clean (although the toilets did smell from time to time), and the free drinking water and fruit and toast for breakfast was a bonus.

Best hostel I have ever stayed at ever! If you want to have a relaxing time in Pai come here. Best common areas/outside areas ever. Right on the river, I even saw people swimming. Pretty quiet vibes, not super social but definitely opportunities especially over breakfast. 15 minute walk from the main which is perfect if you want to party too. Staff was excellent, views were incredible. Couldn’t recommend this hostel enough. Thank you so much UP2U!

I was not crazy about this hostel. The toilets and showers were dirty and wet. There were lots of mosquitos in the dorm and outside (although the beds are protected by mosquito nets). There is no noise insulation in the dorms and I could hear traffic, people walking in the corridor, etc. all night. I had a bad nights sleep here and would not stay again. Positives: It is about a ten minute walk from the walking street and is right next to the river. Thai-style design of the hostel is cool.
