Our beautiful Hostel, Shantee House located in Budapest. Invites you with a joyful atmosphere in a cozy environment with comfortable and clean rooms. The hostel is in a quiet location, near the city center and well connected with an excellent 24 hour public transport network. Easy excess to historical sites and all attractions.

Shantee House welcomes international visitors, sharing a unique audience. Surrounded by a friendly ambient that feels like you are at home. Offering easy socialising around the kitchen table, dinner cooking - story telling. You can share your experiences and make friends for life in the space of timelessness.

We focus our attention on kindness, care and providing a comfortable stay to our guests. Offering various type of accommodation to suit your needs; private rooms for couples, for groups or solo travellers 3 to 6, or 12 bed shared rooms for a happy sleep with a freshly made comfy bed. During summertime for adventure and nature lovers we offer sleeping in our enchanted Mongolian Yurt-tent dressed with comfortable beds. There are also camping facilities, hammocks available for sleeping in our green garden area under the shade of a weeping willow tree.

The hostel is my favorite of all the hostels I stayed in Europe so far. Guests here are respecful and happy to share.The owner and girls doing workaway are understadable and friendly.Hostel itself is super cool,beautiful , well-equipped and clean.During my stay, one of frontdesk ladies is a bit disinformative and distant. Her only focus seems to be the payment ( cash only, unless when the owner is there). In short,bring cash and if help is needed, google is happier to help.

A world away from the full-on Budapest action! Situated in a quiet residential area, but with very easy access to the city centre (15 mins by tram). Also very handy for Kelenfold railway station (trains south and westwards - I left for Vienna from it). Very clean, calm and peaceful. Comfortable bed. Nice showers. Clean and tidy kitchen but I only used it to make a morning cuppa. I would come back here.
