The location is great just next to Whitby abbey and the view at night is amazing. you can see the whole Whitby from here. However the facility is a little bit old.

The best thing about this hostel is the location - right next to Whitby Abbey, making it a perfect spot for visiting the landmark or in my case for setting off on a hike along the North Yorkshire coast. Other plus points include the comfortable beds, nice interior of the hostel (it's a large building) and excellent breakfast. An area for improvement would be the showers in the bathrooms. The water runs onto the rest of the bathroom floor although there's an object to drag the excess water.
