The Barn was a good place to stay, but probably better in the summer! In May it was absolutely freezing cold, with no real indoor communal areas :/ the rooms were clean and cozy, and the showers nice and hot, but the kitchen wasn’t great, it was freezing and all the cookware was covered in soot from the gas burners and got on everything. But the location couldn’t be better!! Right off the trail and the staff were really helpful booking tours/boats

Clean, functional and comfy little cabin. An excellent food van on site. Slightly dodgy washing machine - didn’t rinse the detergent off so my clothes looked worse after I’d washed them (probably avoid that). Plenty of kitchen facilities, hot water and friendly staff
