P168 Hostel

Location: great Staff: kind and helpful Restaurant: excellent food Common areas: small and hot not so comfortable During the night they turn off all a/c so you can’t really hang out outside room, too hot Showers and toilets were tend to, but need update I stayed in double capsule and it was comfortable, for one night. The window doesn’t open and unfortunately the room smelled like hang over people. A/c was always on very low temp so it was a big shift of temperature when you stepped in

This hostel has a great restaurant and beach access. However, the beds were hard, and the sheets were uncomfortable. The showers lacked enough hooks or shelves, making it difficult to hang your towel, clothes, or cosmetics, and they also had an unpleasant smell. Also, each bunk has its own v powerful (and loud) air con thatturns on automatically when you use your key card to turn on the electricity. This was annoying because you couldn't turn it off and have your phone charging at the same time.

Had a double room which was really comfortable, came with TV and fridge and was cleaned every day with the en-suite. The staff are very nice and helpful and helped to book my transfer onwards. Location is great - at the top end of the main Chaweng strip so it’s not too loud but only a 10 minute walk to everywhere, would definitely recommend
