Amazing! Very social with lots of activities going on. Laundry, food, bike hire etc is available. Staff are lovely! Central location!

One of the staff guys yelled my name and called me “beautiful” and “cute” the lady there was laughing also. Might be a fun compliment at a bar, not when I’m on my way to the shower, and this is where I’m sleeping. I felt very uncomfortable after this. You guys have a lot of female travelers coming here. And these “light hearted compliments” really is something we instantly alert as “am I safe”. I hope you think about that for the future. Hostels are supposed to be the safe place for solo women.

Arrived for my booking in which was around a 10 minute walk from the harbour. Property is falsely advertised. States it has a pool in which it doesn’t and this is the only reason we booked. Was informed they have had recent renovations in which when looking online , the pool was removed before 2023. Unsure why the pool was removed in a country that’s red hot 30 degree heat but each to their own. We didn’t end up staying as a result to this and found a great hostel called amigos bungalows.
