The Rabbit Tree is one of the coolest hostels that I have ever stayed in. It is a little tricky to find at first, but it is worth the stay. Part open-air bunker, part tree-house, this hostel has a fantastic lay-out. The staff is super-friendly and helpful. Definately worth a stay if you visit Gili Meno.

Hmmm! I really wanted to like this place, and I think some people definitely would. I found all the different rooms a little overwhelming, and my room quite creepy. My door didn’t lock, and there was only a curtain separating my room from the next. There was also nowhere secure to put my valuables. I honestly just didn’t feel super safe here as a solo female traveller, which is the most important thing for me. It has such a weird vibe. Staff were incredible though, so lovely.
