We very highly recommend Casa Lupita - it’s a beautiful hostel that is well cared for by a caring staff that lives on site. We will gladly stay again on our next trip to Guanajuato.

I enjoyed my stay. The location is great, the beds are comfortable and the kitchen and DIY breakfast are great. The hostel is generally very clean. Staff were nice and kind, especially Anna! The only issue from my side is that the bathrooms are in need of renovation. The ensuite in the door room had a strong chemical smell with mould on the sealant. The other communal bathroom was cleaner probably as it is better ventilated but it had a bad smell too when the drain was uncovered.
