Sgt Pepper's Hostel

Nice hostel, room had a little balcony which was nice. Breakfast is simple but a nice inclusion

The staff is excellent but atmosphere is lacking. For an example there was a person in my room and we woke up at the same time and left to our places. I show up to my tour and she is already there on the jeep. We booked the same tour and in the same hostel and in the same room but didn't know until the tour started because the atmosphere is just so-so. IMPORTANT: The wifi is slow and on 2nd floor almost non-existent.

This hostel is clean, safe and in a good location, but the design of it isnt for backpackers. The dorms lack power outlets, there are no privacy curtains around the beds, and there are no loos aside from the ensuite bathrooms, which isnt good first thing in the morning. Breakfast is good, one of the staff is absolutely delightful, and Jardin's main plaza is a short walk away. But the basic backpacker expectations arent catered for, the kitchen is lacking in basics, and no alcohol is permitted
