Had an enjoyable stay at this Balinese house. The manager is very friendly and caring, appreciated his recommendations to use apps for travel and suggested scenic points that are truly worth a visit. There are additional services for pick-up from the airport/destinations to make your trip hassle-free, definitely worth the budget. Room is big and clean with air con. Free to relax at the balcony and rooftop apart from common area. Food stalls are nearby so a good chance to try local food around.

The host is really nice, and the place is clean, but the location is awful. You’re not near anything, even just the airport (45 min drive via car). The closest beach is 40 min driving, the markets are a 40 min drive, and there streets all around are so crazy, busy, and narrow that you can’t walk anywhere, even just 5 mins away. There’s no sidewalks. There was also not a single other person staying there, so I can’t really comment on the social vibes.

Family owned place for over 20 years. This place is awesome and a very local experience. The host is so kind, made me coffee in the morning, brought me to the roof and pointed out places I should go to, and really made you feel like family
