I booked a private room with my son as the first time living in a hostel,my boy wants to experience. I found this one with top rated. It's wonderful,the boss is kindheart and enthusiastic. I think we would come back again next time if possible and experience a standard room. And the only problem is that the edge of the bed is slightly sunken, causing a slight unevenness on the outside, which makes feel a bit tired during sleeping.

I loved it here, I arrived in Chiang Mai directly from London and it was a perfect place to settle in. It’s a very relaxed atmosphere but if you’re feeling more social / up for drinking family home 2 was great for meeting people and going out. The staff here went above and beyond with recommendations for things to do that suited what I particularly wanted. Joe was so helpful in both me making the most of my time in CM and organising my Slowboat to Laos.

The staff was very friendly and introduced us to everyone. Social atmosphere. Most people between ages of 21 and 35. Social but not party which was perfect. The hostel lives up to its name. Family dinner was great too
