This hostel was lovely! I arrived after reception closed but had let them know in advance so they were able to accommodate me which I was very grateful for! It was pretty quiet but met some lovely people, a cool mix of Taiwanese and foreigners. The bathrooms and rooms were nice too, would def stay again.

The location of the hostel is good to go around the city but not too close to the main station. The communication was easy (english speaking) and fast via Agoda/WhatsApp. The lounge with the tatami mats is nice but the hostelwas kind of empty when I was there. Spontanous bookings with the check-in time restrictions and the payment might be a bit inconvenient.

The hostel itself is very eccentric and unique! We were there during the Tainan half marathon so it was very busy and unfortunately bathrooms were a little messy due to all the people. However, when those guests left the bathrooms were very clean! Beware if you have a big suitcase, it is difficult to go up and down the stairs but the staff is more than happy to help! Overall very nice hostel!
