Wayha Hostel blew me away! The staff were super friendly and made me feel right at home. The atmosphere was buzzing with a vibrant community vibe. The photos didn't really look like the property. The staff were friendly and helpful, The rooms were small and a bit cramped. You did get a privacy curtain and this was close to the airport. But getting into the centre was long and a bit of a mission.

I was here for just one night but it worked well. Easy access from DMK airport, I took the train for 2 stops and then walked for 12 minutes (I must say the walk late at night was a bit intimidating as a girl alone, but not too scary). The common areas were very nice! Breakfast was simple but good. My room was so tiny, but ok for one night. There was only a tiny blanket and it gets cold with AC, could add a thicker blanket. Room smelled weird of some cleaning product. The bathrooms were fine.
