The hostel is only lively for Sunday Funday and beer pong; otherwise, it’s very quiet. The dorms are spacious, and fresh night air compensates for the lack of AC. However, ants infested everything, even locked bags. The free breakfast (tipico) is good but identical daily. The vibe felt off as staff treated the hostel like a personal hangout, though they were helpful with beach shuttles. Surf lessons were great, lasting 1.5 hours with maximum water time.

By far the best hostel in San Juan. Every single member of staff is super friendly and always willing to help with whatever you need. I booked for 5 days and ended up staying 3 weeks! They also have a yummy brekkie, shuttles to the beach and host the main event, Sunday Funday!

Not as sociable as you’d think, felt like a ghost town outside of Sunday funday. The dorm didn’t have proper curtains and only had a few fans for all of the beds, so you were roasting and wide awake by 6:30am.
