This hostel was probably our favourite place we stayed in Sri Lanka! Shan and his family are the most fantastic hosts! He took me and my friend all the way to Sigiriya at 4:30 in the morning to see the sunrise from Pidurangala rock even though it was pouring rain! The hostel is also super close to the rock temple in dambulla and it's within walking distance to dambulla for busses and other services. The breakfast and dinner we had at the hostel was amazing as well! The amount of care is evident!

I really loved this place - spotless felt like a hotel, got your privacy from the enclosed capsule-esque bed, it was super comfy + had all the amenities you could want close by (good socket connection, book shelf, great wifi). Guys on the front desk were brilliant too very engaging and super helpful. There wasn't many people staying in the hostel when I was there but would happily recommend + stay another night there myself if I was about Big shout out to the 2 guys working behind the desk
