This place has a cool atmosphere and is pretty uniquely decorated, also not too big. The staff was super friendly and the outdoor terrace was a nice place to hangout. The food and drinks were fairly priced and also good. Everything was clean. My main critique is the kitchen: there is a small fridge which is pretty dirty (the guest‘s fault i guess), an electric kettle and a microwave - but no pots and pans or place to cook, as it said in the app - also no cutlery. You can get into town very well.

The guys that own the place are really nice guys who are always welcome to have a chat with you or share a drink. It’s a very laid back cozy hostel. Yes it’s a bit far from the walled city but there’s a bus stop right next to the hostel. Just be aware they stop running in the evening around 8 so if you go out for dinner you might get stuck walking back to the hostel like I did

Friendly and welcoming hostel. Marco is a really nice host. Would have been happy to stay longer. Just over an hours walk into Lucca if no bus available, otherwise a bus stop 50m from the hostel
