Offering free WiFi access, Cocoa Guesthouse is situated just a 10-minute walk from Hongik University Station, around which is an area known for its indie arts culture, where shopping, dining and entertainment options are plentiful.

The Korean-style rooms and dormitory rooms are equipped with air conditioning and heating systems and shared bathrooms. They are fitted with either bunk beds or traditional futon mats.

Guests can use the shared kitchen, which has a washing machine, stove, microwave and water dispenser. Computer is available for use, and luggage storage services are also available. A simple breakfast is served daily.

Super clean, helpful staff. It’s about 3 flights of stairs up. But the staff helped with the bag each time. Walls are a little thin. But the place is clean and organized. Staff explains everything pretty thoroughly and there for any questions.

Clean, good price. I stayed in a single room. The beds are extremely hard and akin to sleeping on the ground. The staff is nice and present in the evenings if you need anything. It’s in more of the party side of Hongdae but other than residual sound of the bar across the street it’s a very quiet hostel.

If you like to be in the most animated part of seoul it’s a great place, lots of clubs and bars all around. But, if you want more quiet place and have difficulties to sleep with noise, you have to know that you can eat a bit the music out outside. The owner is really nice and try to help and the place is clean !!
