Stay here! This is a family run hostel and it shows. It’s in a great location, is super clean and well-organised and secure etc. But in addition, and what makes it stand out even more, is that the family members -Gabriella Luis and Jonathan -were so friendly genuinely warm and helpful as were their two staff. I opted for a private room with en-suite which had 3 single beds. A home cooked breakfast was served in the kitchen and enjoyed outside in the garden. Filtered Water was available. 🙏🙏🙏

We stayed at Casa X’tacay for four nights and had an amazing experience. The staff were incredibly kind and gave us great tips for day trips and the best cenotes to visit. You can easily book tours through the hostel. The owner prepares delicious local breakfast and coffee every morning, which adds a lovely personal touch. They also rent scooters at a good price. Overall, a fantastic stay – we highly recommend it!

Great hostel, really friendly and helpful couple who own it. Breakfast was great and gave us loads of tips and helped to organise stuff for us to explore the area. Would definitely stay here again.
