Staff down in the pub we're lovely. The room were cramped, the carpets were filthy and the smell from the showers/loos wafted through the corridors. There's no communal space other than the pub downstairs so it's not a hostel to relax in. Good cheap price.

Pros: Good location. Pub downstairs has GREAT breakfast and coffee. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean bedding. No bugs (in October.) Cons: 1) Fire safety. One lithium battery fire and the entire place will go up. Only one Evacuation route for the 30-50 guests down a narrow hallway and narrow staircase. 2) Black Mold in bathrooms. Very dangerous to health. 3) Even when the pub and street is quiet, it is impossible to sleep because of the doors slamming. This could be fixed for very little cost.

There are 3 beds in the bunk bed - if anyone moves, everything moves together. The room was very small and not super comfortable. The corridor and bathroom smell :/
