ijen was closed that time, sad. So I just stayed in here one night, from Malang to Bali. Everything was clean, AC was strong. Staffs are helpful and friendly! The breakfast here were yummy, they had different kinds of food and fruits on one dishe, very full. I would like to stay there again for ijen next time. Good place, quiet!

Good place to stay to do Mt Ijen. basic accomodation, tiny rooms and old beds but not too uncomfortable. breakfast was quite good. Bathrooms were ok. Right next to a mosque that blasts stuff all day (more than just the prayers). It’s on the exit road from the train station so a lot of traffic on the road outside. I organised my transport to Cemero Lawang through them. Was told it would be 4-5 hours depending on traffic but it took 8 hours because the driver kept making long stops

Staff were amazing. Super helpful and incredibly lovely. Hostel acts mostly as a way for people to do Ijen and go to other cities and they do that very well! In my dorm the hot shower didn't always work and was the only slight negative! But you cannot fault the price or the quality of the staff.
