I had an amazing time at Somos! Jon and Sam were the SWEETEST and gave me the best recommendations :) I will miss Antigua so much and would happily recommend this to all solo travelers! it’s in a great location :)

Somos is a great laid back hostel. Everyone there from the volunteers to other guests are very kind. We stayed in the private room and I will note it gets light in there very early (5:30am) due to the sky light and we found the bed itself to be very hard. But the location, prices, and people made up for it. Thank you Somos!

Could not have found a better place to stay! It's a quaint, simple, and clean hostel with an intimate vibe. While it's not a heavy party hostel, it is incredibly easy to meet new people and find friends to go out with. It is honestly the best place I've seen in the city—I even returned for an extra day just to stay longer! A huge thank you to the amazing volunteer team (Remi, Imogen, Beth, Yonathan, Paulina, Sam and everyone). They were all super helpful and made my trip unforgettable!
