Perfect location. Not a party hostel but it’s a great place to meet new friends or having a chill vacation. You can always see staff around cleaning public area but I don’t think cleaning shower and toilet in the morning before checkout time is a good idea for those checkout guests. Other than that, there are pool table, pingpong table, big yard outside and a decent pool. If there’s a volleyball court in the yard would be perfect! It’s a really nice place and I will definitely book here again.

The receptionists were professional, friendly and very helpful, providing excellent customer service. The hostel is in a great location, within easy reach of the main attractions in Cairns and close to public transport. The hostel itself is clean and well maintained. The breakfast is quite basic and is the same every day, so a bit more variety would be nice. The main downside is the dorms. They don’t seem to be cleaned regularly, and the sheets and covers are left for guests to put on themselv
