Had an epic stay at Boho City Hostel! Loved everything about it, the location, room itself (super private beds with blinds), my roomies and the staff! Angelica even took us on a tour to the other side of the island and we saw a beautiful waterfall that otherwise would’ve been impossible to access without a car. Would 100% stay here again 🙌🏽

A good location with some nice people working in the hostel but it's is small and cramped. If I was to visit Chania again I would just arrive and rent a room in the old town (great value to be had in beautiful, old town, locations). Anyway, on the morning I checked out ((and hoping for a final swim in Chania) I was disappointed to be told that I would have to pay five euros to hold mg luggage for an hour or so. After spending a few nights in the hostel this was a sad way to part company!

Positives: good value for money; friendly staff (Angelica); very central location in Chania old town. Negatives: air conditioned but temperature set so high that it's hotter than the already hot temperatures outside (you have to open the windows during the night while the A/C is on to get some relief from how high the A/C is set); very sweaty night's stay; beds not serviced on arrival & you need to put on own linen in tight sleeping pods; shower head broken; so fairly below-par facilities.
