Honestly, I thought it was pretty grim. I felt nervous to touch the floor so I wore flip flops in the shower. Towels threadbare, sheets were cheap and synthetic and wool place felt unclean. Cheap not cheerful. I also asked for a safety box to keep my belongings safe and the key wouldn’t work to retrieve them. A highly unrelaxing stay and wouldn’t recommend.

The view from the hostel/hotel were beautiful and the pool area was great. The staff were lovely but weren’t always helpful e.g. they don’t have laundry facilities even though it says it does but they won’t help you with laundry at all. The dorm rooms were disappointing. Moths, bugs, etc in every corner or room and ensure bathroom. It’s clear that while it was a beautiful building the upkeep of it has been abysmal so definitely take all pictures with a pinch of salt.
