My friend and I (both girls) showed up to check in and we found out that there is no way at all to lock the doors to the rooms. As two young women in their early 20’s traveling to a foreign country, we did not feel safe at all in this situation so we asked to cancel the reservation and switched to a hotel nearby to be in a more safe environment. Luckily the reception allowed us a refund, but overall we were disappointed with this experience.

Overall a good stay for the location. Staff was friendly and the area felt secure, but not social at all. Very nice pool.

The location of the hostel is good however I wouldn’t recommend staying here. The staff are absent and if available not really willing to help. It’s not social at all as mainly private rooms with couples. Dorm room does not lock and hostel is very open plan so this doesn’t feel safe. Not even given a sheet on the bed and mattress cover has stains all over. Two showers and toilets per dorm but the facilities do not feel clean.
