I loved staying at Old Bells, is very peaceful, and I can do everything on foot. It’s a little far from downtown, but I can catch a bus at the nearby bus stop. It’s close to the terminal for trips to other cities and to the main attractions around Santa Ana, like the terminal that goes to the volcano. I love the staff, and the hostel’s atmosphere makes me feel right at home.

Cute hostel on the outskirts of the city, with lovely volunteers! Really nice bar, which gives you a chance to mix with the locals. However, please note that the city centre is a good 40 minutes away on foot, fortunately ubers are quite cheap.
