Mahesh is truly the best host and his hostel has such a social, family vibe with plenty of activities that don’t just revolve around drinking. When we do go out Mahesh helps organise the transport and discounted entry to everywhere too. A great place to learn to surf as Mahesh has discounted rates at a local place and everyone goes to learn / surf together. Perfect for a solo backpacker. Clean, and great AC too. Would stay again in a heartbeat!

By far the best hostel I have stayed in!!!! Mahesh goes above and beyond to make everyone feel welcomed and have a great experience in Weligama - the kindest soul. It’s great if you’re a solo traveller because there are lots of activities planned throughout the day and location is perfect. Will definitely come back again, couldn’t recommend it more 🫶
