Unfortunately me and my friends had an upsetting and scary stay here at memories. When we first arrived we were pleased - apart from the yellow deteriorating floor in our dorm. However, the owner of the hostel ‘happy’, really ruined our stay. He was incredibly pushy and creepy to my 19yo friend, texting her strange things and begging her to sleep in his bed. Not only that, he made all of us , feel watched and intimidated. We ended up leaving as a result of this. I would not recommend staying.

AMAZING! One of my favorite hostels ever, the owners are incredible kind and always wants to help with anything you need! They can give you a ride, make amazing juices or take you to the best party spots. Would definitely recommend

Amazing experience at Memories Weligama. We had a great time in the city, the hostel is close to the main beach, we managed to go surfing every morning during our stay thanks to the hosts’ recommendations. The breakfast was really good. The staff was lovely and very helpful. Thank you for everything, we will definitely come back!
