I stayed for 4 nights for el dia de los muertos. It’s not the bad, 30min walk from the center, the room were clean and with a big locker for the backpacks. But the restrooms… were really gross , smelly and does not have hot water the mornings (don’t know why🤷‍♀️)

It's far from the city center - about 30 minutes walking. On the positive side, it's an easy walk with good sidewalks and it's safe - people are out with kids and walking their dogs even at 10:30 PM. The bathrooms are really dirty and everything else is run down. There aren't enough toilets and they look like they haven't been cleaned in years. On top of that, there often wasn't any toilet paper. Finally , it appears to be also a boarding house because a bunch of locals hanging around.

Pro: * Easy route to the centre * Includes breakfast * Staff help ordering taxis * Some improvement such as lockers * Most staff are friendly Cons: * Bathroom - disgusting and unhygienic.Hot water not guaranteed. Twice there was no water.* Noise - mexican teenagers staying, woken early.* Private room is extremely expensive for what it is.* No care of customers safety. Left luggage in storage, Chucked out at 10pm with no charge on phone.
