Worst hostel experience of my life, and the most expensive one, even compared to 4-star hotels. The bathrooms were filthy and smelled strongly of urine. My friend was locked out of her room and had to climb through a window. Staff attempted to charge me twice for my stay, and the promised refund of the initial 800 MXN was never made. The location is also misleading: nearly 30 minutes walking from the city center. Terrible conditions, dishonest practices. I absolutely do not recommend this hostel

Be ready for an old dirty hostel. Poor higiene, old everything. They just won’t spend a peso remodeling or repairing infrastructure.

This place isn’t expensive but it is a real dump. The rooms look nothing like the picture. It is not near the City center and it is a 30 minute walk from the City center. It is a very depressing place. The bathrooms were dirty. The showers had hot water but it was impossible to move or adjust the shower head. There were no other guests and no ambiance. However, as I said previously, it is cheap. It appeared safe enough but I wouldn’t walk around in the area after dark.
