Sathkara River - Weligama

Overall a great place to stay. The staff are very accomodating and even organised a tuk tuk for us to the train station. The room was well kitted-out, and the place even has a washing machine you can use. We stayed here in late Aug and were the only ones in the whole place, so difficult to judge what the atmosphere would be like at a busier time. The only downside of the place for me was that it was a bit of a walk to the town.

This is the nicest hostel I have stayed in during my two month trip in Sri Lanka. Highly recommend, the beds are large, clean and very comfortable. The showers have hot water and the bathrooms are very clean

The hostel is not bad but the beds are really hard, the kitchen is not really for using and the fridge is dirty. The location is nice if you like a quiet place but it’s a bit far away from everything. The jacuzzi what you see on the pictures are not there anymore. The bathroom is super nice.
