Ok hostel, up quite a steep hill, there are better hostel’s closer to town. Breakfast is basic, though fresh baked bread is good Very dirty - cleaned daily but only new dirt and bathrooms only done once daily but when you start looking there is old ingrained dirt everywhere, mould on the bathroom ceiling and shower curtain, old dirt in heaters and in corners, all which is nasty. Also I found it quite loud, when music is playing downstairs you hear it in the dorm Wouldn’t stay here again.

Great atmosphere throughout the day! Breakfast is a highlight with homemade bread and cake being made every day for guests! Fresh fruit, cereal, yogurts, eggs, coffee etc were amazing! Bedrooms were comfy and bathroom were cleaned every day! Not sure about the swimming pool tho.. In our experience, my partner and I were let down by our clothes been left on the dirty floor when we were drying them on the line outside.. not sure if it was a miscommunication but staff had moved our clothes :(

Wonderful staff and I loved my room and bed with view towards the lake and mountains. The breakfast is great and the pool is an added bonus for sure. The wifi worked really well and I was comfortable working at a small breakfast bar in the kitchen, but there's loads of other options for working. I appreciated that they don't throw out the toiletries (shampoo, conditioner) that people leave behind; better for the environment and the cheap backpackers (like me XD)!
