TheLakeHostel

Do not think twice to book this hostel! Perfect hostel to slow down and recover your body and mind. So far Favorite hostel and great host(Kiri). free Bicycle and kayaking was a good addition. Still low season so there was only me and another guest but Had great conversations with Kiri and manee. I might be +1 to their returning guest list :)

I stayed here for three nights at the start of October and had the most relaxing time, the setting and the surrounds of the hostel are blissful, well away from the road and next to a large lake. You can kayak on the lake or take an art class and believe they is even yoga that runs during the main part of the season. Kiri and Marnie and the real highlight however, these two run the hostel and are the friendliest most inclusive hosts you could ask for, they repeatedly went above and beyond.

This place is honestly such a peaceful sanctuary tucked away in Hikkaduwa. The rooms and facilities are great, and Kiri is a great host who cooks the tastiest breakfasts. Highly recommend!
